Just discovered an online video-sharing site that can handle HD video. This will liberate the various AVCHD clips that have been imprisoned on my hard drive until now. Not least, I'll have a way to distribute them to my friends who have been patiently waiting for copies (Rich, this means you).
The only downside is that it'll take a while (days) to upload all the video I've already accumulated.
Here's the first of several... this is a silly little tour of the kitchen and family room taken on the first day I had my Canon HF10. Just testing the zoom and checking out the color fidelity and picture quality.

Well, unfortunately MotionBox joins the dust bin of internet history, at least for now. They have sold their assets (presumably their IP) to Snapfish, who in turn have elected not to continue the high-def video hosting feature. That was the one and only reason I was using Motionbox, so don't look on Snapfish for the down-graded low-res version of any of my fine HD video, such as Rich Rudow rapping off Deer Creek Falls. I will post again when a suitable replacement has been found.
